So, for those of you that don't know; earlier tonite (an hour and a half before the Jam,) the administrator of the Khyber Arts Centre (Brian MacNevin director@khyberarts.ns.ca ) informed me that not only did he not know about the Khyber Komix Jam, but that we would no longer be allowed to hold our jam sessions at the establishment whose name our publication bears. Well, luckily The Granite Brewery was nice enough to serve as a makeshift jammer refugee centre and jam session 9 was saved.
Effective immediately the Khyber Komix Jam is officially retitled The Halifax Comix Jam. I will change the blog address as soon as i secure a new jam space (hopefully one that isn't as poorly managed.)

Khyber Komix Jam session # 9 is on Tuesday the 10th same jam time, same jam space. Issue 8 was awesomely radical. It's probably the most colourful issue ever and as a result, I might (repeat; MIGHT,) print a special limited edition run featuring some of the colour pages, in addition to regular B&W issue.

I shoulda said somethin sooner, but KKJ #8 was awesome! At least 5 new people came out and several frequent jammers were there as well. Probably some of the strangest pages I've ever seen were produced. The next session is July 10th.

Khyber Komix Jam # 8 will be on Tuesday June 12th 7pm-1am at the Khyber Arts Centre in Halifax (see address at the bottom of the page,) please bring your own pens and pencils.

Due to a minor liquor license dispute, beer will not be available this month. As a result, for one month only, The Khyber Komix Jam is ALL AGES!! So come out and draw kiddies!!

So come out and bring your friends to Khyber Komix Jam 8, because it's fun, it's free and anyone can do it.

Issue 7 will be hitting the stands soon. What can I say about this issue... probably the most offensive one yet, the artwork is great, multi-paged pages abound, definitely ADULTS ONLY!!!

Ok, what can I say about issue four? We had a camera crew out to do a story about us and only four people showed up. Embarrassing. anyway the cover price is 75 cents because the issues only 8 pages

Alright, I cribbed the page layout from R.Crumbs Home Grown Funnies and I misspelled the cover.. yeah I suck, but take my word for it this is handsdown the best comix jam issue I've ever published (sorry every other comix jam I made.)
